Luke when he knows I'll say something he won't like (e.g., that it's not OK to throw your toys all over the playroom): "Don't talk to me, Mommy! Stop talking!"

Luke on a day it snowed a tiny bit: "We are lost in a winter wonderland!"

Zo when the cousins were visiting, wearing her new pig slippers: "I'm going to be a scary pig and chase Bailee!

Luke (very matter of fact): "There are no scary pigs here! I haven't seen any scary pigs."

Luke when told there would probably be more presents next Christmas: "That's OK. We have enough." 

Zo: "Uncle Luke looks like Uncle Ben. They match." (I love how Uncle Luke is a real, if intangible, presence in their lives...)
