Grace in small things: weekend edition (October 18, 2015)

  1. I won tickets to see Todo Mundo Friday night, and took the kids, who were mesmerized (although we did have to leave early, they couldn't quite make it through the whole show). Great show. And before the show we saw a beautiful red fox up close and personal, he was just waltzing down the sidewalk. And, I found a sweet little grove where we let the kids run around and get some energy out...I want to take pictures of the kids in their Halloween costumes there next week...stay tuned...
  2. My husband taking the kids out and about while I worked...hate working on the weekend, but so appreciate that he helps...
  3. Fried oysters by the river at Sunpies...so warm yesterday, once again...and speaking of wildlife, our server said there was a bear in the bushes on the other side of the river that morning
  4. A great night's sleep last night...and finally feeling somewhat caught up in terms of my endless lists...
  5. An out-the-back-door hike with Sis this morning to Picnic Rock where the above picture was taken...many of the aspens look like this now...bare or with just a few leaves hanging on. It's raining this afternoon and I have french onion soup bubbling on the stove for dinner...love fall...life is good...

XOXO
