Yampa Valley Regional Airport

Last weekend on the way from Steamboat to Junction we stopped at the airport open house, which was awesome. Hamburgers and hot dogs for lunch, policemen, all sorts of truck for the kids to climb in (de-icer, fire trucks just for plane fires, etc.), and the coolest part--a chance to ride bikes on the runway. (The airport is currently having work done to its runway and is closed. It'll be fun to say as we talk off or land, "I rode my bike right here!"
