Grace in small things, April 14, 2016

1. Kids played with these "Pop-Arty" rainbow-colored snap-together plastic beads literally all day long. When they were first playing with them this morning, they kept making me little things and saying, "We're making you these things because we love you. You are silly and sweet and fun and we love you being our Mommy." All I could do was smile big, hug them tight...they are so cute times like these...
2. Sis wanting her hair done "unicorn horn"-style this morning, with her bangs in a little ponytail sticking out front...
3. Another lovely walk early this morning with my husband. Warmer each day. We picked up trash on the trail, so it's nicer. Lots of birds, I don't know birds but one with red wings and a little yellow one...and oh! I saw my first eagle here last week, and another one yesterday...
4. First playground trip this year without the playground completely buried in snow...
5. Once again, lots of work. (Which I'm very grateful for, but it's easy to get overwhelmed.) Once again, it's all getting done. I also had most of the day with the kids and got some housework done, cooked dinner...all those deadlines are going to get met...I most want to take good care of my family...and I am...
