Maurice

So for years, don't know why but I've wanted an animal head in my house...but not a real one, animal lover that I am. Something artsy and cool. Luckily, they're trendy right now, so there are lots to choose from, and we've been putting together a playroom for the kids, so it seemed like a good time.

And so...meet Maurice (named by my husband, who does all the naming of things around here.) I think he was thinking Steve Miller Space Cowboy; it makes me think Maurice Sendak and Where the Wild Things Are. Either way, I like it, and it's nice to have a playroom mascot, you know?

Oh, and the little yellow bird on the antlers has yet to be named, so let me know if anyone has any clever suggestions.
