January into February 2022

In the last few weeks I’ve:

• Worked on:

  • Seasons + rituals book

  • Moon picture book

  • Lake Baikal picture book

• Made progress with “Good Decisions”:

  • Completed the worksheets for the website

  • Started the website update

  • Talked with a mentor of mine re: selling strategies

  • Gotten some great feedback from some people in the rare disease community

  • Ordered and approved a final proof—meaning my book will be available on Amazon etc. in 6 to 8 weeks!

All against the backdrop of playing out in the snow, taking care of kids, organizing and unpacking the house (slow going, but progress is being made), hot springs, a heavy work schedule, weekend visits with my husband, etc. We also had a fun little Groundhog’s Day tea and the kids did great with their first science fair!

We’re in Vail on “ski week” this week…looking forward to some fun with the kids. We’re supposed to get a ton of snow but hasn’t shown up yet…fingers crossed!
