September into October: Writing and Plans

September was a weird month with 2 out-of-town weddings (so special and fun) and the end-of-life care and death of our 14-year-old dog (so difficult). I did manage to get some writing done, including picture book and poetry work, and some sales/promotion work on “Good Decisions”. October and November should be much more productive with more time to devote to writing. Here are my plans for the next 2 months:

• Finish revisions on 2 picture books

• Advance an additional 2

• Find an agent (!)

• Finish (for now) exploration surrounding “Good Decisions”

• Revise/advance a couple of poetry projects (and possibly submit for publication)

• Work on my San Francisco book

• Continue with writing and book groups

• Get an official office put together for me

• Start to explore illustration (just for fun)
