Grace in small things, February 22, 2017

1. Skiing this morning with the kids...just love being on the mountain with them...they both wanted to do the half-pipe so we did that for the first time today...super fun...
2. We got new electric blankets for the porch! They are sooooo soft and warm and pretty. My husband had a work dinner so the kids and I tried them out as the sun was setting, talking about the airplanes we saw and where they were going (although the kids insisted they were rocket ships), making a wish on the first star, reading "1 to 20, Animals Aplenty," which is one of my favorite books, the three of us snuggled in a chair under a toasty warm blanket...it was so nice...
3. Luke and Zo tell me they're not getting married, they're going to stay together and not have kids but have pet bunnies instead. Oh and Zo will be a doctor. And an engineer. They've got their future all figured out... :)
4. Snow flurries today...I think the snow is about to come back...so ready for a little more winter and a few more powder days...
5. Charlotte helping when I needed help today...so appreciate her...
