Rainbow song, nice people + the Cheeta Cheater
- Kids took the money they've been raising to the Humane Society yesterday...a really special thing for them to do, I know it made them feel really good to help the doggies and kitties. Here's Luke at the rainbow statute outside their front door singing...
- Our homeowner's association manager coming over to help us with the fire alarm that's been chirping in the middle of the night...not his job at all...so nice of him to help...
- And speaking of nice people, I'd promised Luke a lunch pack (meat, cheese, crackers, chocolate bear cookies) for dinner after grocery shopping...and realized I'd forgotten it with half my groceries unloaded in the checkout line. I was facing a meltdown and unsure what to do when the guy behind me in line asked me what it was we needed and where and went back and got it for us.
- Finally got to talk with a friend of mine yesterday whose dad just died...love her...
- Luke made a little cheeta-spotted airplane in school he calls the "Cheeta Cheater." Apparently, it eats lambs, which upsets Zo. "Luke, why can't the Cheeta Cheater eat something else?" I asked him. "It can't. Eating lambs is its' biology. It's how it evolved." And I had to laugh because that's how I answer lots of his questions about the natural world...
- It's snowing hard! And my sis-in-law and the cousins are coming!!
Happy Wednesday!
