Our moose, thoughts on losing baby teeth + I heart mud season
- Courthouse and a visit to the moose there is an annual ritual when the car registration needs to be renewed...
- Luke: "I have a loose tooth. But it's not as loose as you might think."
- And also: "When the tooth fairy comes, she plants a seed in your mouth. And from that grows a tooth."
- Flights from LAX to Hawaii are booked for me and the kids and the dog! And I'm determined to make our unexpected Colorado-to-California road trip super fun...
- Good news from my husband yesterday :)
- Making time to meditate each day...been a while since I've done that...
- Sparkly Jupiter and Venus in the night sky...
- I love mud season when the town gets so sleepy and quiet...and everything turns green...and finally days are warm...and it smells like spring, ahhh...
- A beautiful white fox trotting out into the road, taking a look at me, trotting back the way he came
- Sleeping with the windows open and waking to birds chirping...

Mud, a much-needed walk + a book is found!
- Happy boys making a mud pit on the playground after school... :)
- Stressed and overwhelmed this morning (well, all day really)--I've got more going on then there are hours in the day--but a walk made it so much better...
- A book of poems I was loving reading to the kids went missing about a month ago...and magically reappeared tonight, yay!
- Playing Zoey's flashcard game that she made at dinner tonight, love the elaborate rules...
- This too shall pass...

Evergreen, the "Forever tunnel," math flashcards + it's incredible how hard it is to get a dog to Hawaii
- Over in Evergreen for Bailee's Capstone Project presentation last night...so lovely to see everyone...
- Luke calling the Eisenhower tunnel the "Forever Tunnel"...
- Hard, heavy wet spring snow this morning...beautiful...
- Zo used my paper cutter and a marker and made a whole pile of math flashcards today...
- A few phone calls and the issues we're having with getting our dog over to Hawaii are getting worked out...
- I'm soooo excited to sleep in my own bed tonight...
