Kid time, computer breaks + math whizzes
Dinner on the front porch…
All my errands taken care of yesterday…
And lots of kid time…
A decision to be completely done with work when kids are done with school…just checking in like I have been doing fragments things…I do better if I have a defined break from the computer…
Kids are so good at math…proud mama… :)

Jaimie and the kids left last night…we had sooooo much fun with them and with Ben while they were here…these are a few pics of our house/beach, and also a trip to Iao Valley and Jaws that we did a few days ago…

I’m surfing again! After putting it off and putting it off it feels really good to be back in the water! I love my new board and we’ve been a couple times to a great chill surf spot…
Looking forward to a quiet weekend with my loves…
Hanging out in Zo’s room as the sun peeks through the clouds at 8 AM. Kids are having some screen time and then I’m going to take advantage of having them home one last weekday before back to school…

Christmas
What a wonderful Christmas we had with Ben and Jaimie here…we had a great breakfast at Slappy Cakes and then opened gifts, including a dome for the yard for the kids! We prepped a lot of the dinner and played with our new toys and then went to the beach and played with the kids and saw turtles and whales. After dark we had dinner on the porch, candles flickering. It was a great day…
X-mas prep and fun + jui jitsu promotion
A few pics from last weeks Holiday Express ride…it was magical…
Made a gingerbread house yesterday with the kids…it turned out so cute…
And got the house all cleaned and ready for company…
And finished last minute X-mas stuff…
And made a menu for the next few days…
And watched Home Alone with Daddy in the evening…
Drinking coffee in bed right now while the kids have screen time and Daddy is at work. Headed over to Kahalui in a little while for Costco (should be a madhouse, not looking forward to that), quick Target stop and airport run. Planning to have dinner at the beach tonight. :)
Oh and the other big news from yesterday is kids are getting promoted from Kids I class to Kids III in jui jitsu…they've been working hard and are getting really good! Quite a compliment to them, this promotion! Proud of them…

Kids and cooking, holiday prep + naps are the best
Kids making their own dinner and putting themselves to bed yesterday…that’s not going to be an everyday thing but I was so tired at the end of the day and it’s pretty amazing they can do that!
Luke and I are going to make pancakes together this morning…kids have a sudden interest in learning to cook…
And also we’re all going to make cookies for Santa…and decorate our gingerbread house…
And I’m planning on a nap this afternoon since I woke up at 4 AM this morning…naps are the absolute best…
Feeling relaxed and excited on the brink of the holidays…

Zo: “There’s a cookie that health food. It has oatmeal and raisins in it.” (She was pretty disappointed when I explained it was still a cookie.)
