Birthday
It was my birthday yesterday and first day home, so it was probably more pedestrian than one would expect but it was absolutely perfect:
Sunrise and coffee at the beach and then a walk with Newton
Breakfast at Castaways
Calls and texts from some of my favorite people
Shopping for seeds for our garden and groceries
“Fantastic Beasts” snuggled on the couch in the heat of the day
(Root for the kids) beers at Kohola, and playing “5 Second Rule”
Sunset dinner at Freidas, my favorite
And then to bed at 8:30 PM lol…ahhh, jet lag. :)

I’ve been taking Saturdays off and doing nothing so really relaxing day yesterday. Plus I’m not feeling great and Luke was so sweet taking care of me, getting his bunny and a blanket for me, a glass of water, reading me a story…
Family marshmallow fight with the marshmallow blasters kids made a science camp
We’re going to Colorado next week and Zoey writing in her journal: Next week I will get to see all of the people I love…
Zo is sad that her angel kiss (birthmark) is going away…we’ve always presented it as something special she has…we tell her it’s going to the inside, she’s not losing it completely…
