Egg hunt (and Zoey's toothless smile)
We had a sweet little egg hunt in the yard yesterday….the Easter Bunny left instructions where to hide the eggs with me, and then the kids took turns hiding eggs for each other. Also you can see Zo’s missing front teeth in one of the pics at the end…so cute!
Easter breakfast
I wanted to make a special Easter breakfast for the kids so we did monkey bread and I was trying to make a little bunny out of eggs and bacon but it ended up more monster-like lol…oh well…the kids thought it was fun anyway…
Easter eggs
We got some natural Easter egg dyes from the health food store this year and the eggs turned out beautifully. Sis lost interest halfway through but Luke was really into it and made every egg multicolored. I love how the pink smelled like the cabbage it was made from. Also love the wrestling metals worn for egg dyeing :)

Bazaar, malasadas + sand and surf with Zoey
Sacred Hearts Bazaar was this weekend and what fun we had! I worked the hamburger/hot dog stand Friday evening with Hop Sing who I just love, and Jeff brought the kids for some fun. Saturday we all went. Such a sweet, fun little family event…loved it. And had my first malasadas there…yum!
I took yesterday completely off as well (trying to do that one weekend day, no work, no errands, no cleaning, no laundry etc.) and had such a great day reading and going out to lunch at Castaways which is our new favorite spot, playing shuffleboard with Bubs and then to the beach with the kids before bazaar, digging a pit in the sand and then swimming with Zo and she was so excited, said it was like when we first moved here and it was…it’s been a while since we swam together but I want to start doing it once a week at least…
Today Jeff is doing his bazaar volunteer shift and I’ve got lots of stuff going on, food shopping and prep, cleaning, laundry, but will be spending some one-on-one time with each kid as well.
