About

CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR PICTURE BOOK REPRESENTATION

I write lyrical, heartfelt picture books about plucky main characters surrounded by love in the vein of “Olivia,” “The Bathing Costume,” “The More You Give,” and “The Swing.” Three picture book manuscripts are available for review and a number of others are in the works.

I work professionally as a copywriter/creative director in the advertising arena, am an active member of SCBWI, an alum of the Big Sur Children’s Writing Workshop (2024) and part of an active critique group. I recently placed a short story with the “Scared to Death” podcast (episode 176) that was also published in the anthology “Scared to Death Volume 4.”

When I’m not writing, I’m hanging out with my 12-year-old twins and/or outside snowboarding, surfing, hiking or backpacking depending on the season and locale. I’m a Colorado native, and although I’ve lived all over the west (from Seattle to Maui to San Francisco to Santa Barbara to Taos and beyond), I’m currently in Steamboat Springs, Colorado (“Ski Town USA”) with my husband, kids, and a pug puppy named Doug.

Thanks for considering my work!
