Below is a full list of my picture book manuscripts, in the order they were written:
Cowboy Surfer (published in Western Colorado Voices [literary anthology], 2025): Ben wants to be a surfer but he lives on a ranch high in the Rockies. How is he going to make his dream come true?
Twelve Moons (published in The Write Launch [literary journal], 2025): Concept book about how kids experience the seasons in the Colorado mountains.
Cootie Catcher (in revisions): June moves to a new town and figures out how to make friends with some help from a magical cootie catcher (paper fortune teller).
Disappearing Act (in revisions): Maya’s house burns down in a fire. How will she make sense of what’s happened?
Night Mares (published in Quotidian Bagatelle [literary journal], 2026; also preparing to query): Ghost horses are attacking Lucia. Can she figure out a way to tame them?
Taos House (in revisions): Mom might hate our quirky house, but so many interesting things happen here!
The Cappy Burro (in revisions): A capybara in search of a hot springs to call his own. A resourceful burro. An unlikely friendship.
The Owl and the Pussycat (in revisions): A loose prose retelling of the classic children’s poem.
Ski Season (in revisions): Concept book that captures the joy of being on the mountain.
Dog Biscuit Heist (complete, preparing to query): A pug wants treats and assembles a rag-tag team to get them.
Cut From a Different Cloth (complete, preparing to query): Reverie is making perfect clothes for her doll using magic thread. But what happens when the thread gets bossy?
Otter Mayhem (in revisions): Otters are stealing surfboards and wreaking havoc on Solomon’s surf sessions. Can he find a way to make them behave?
Calliope Pipes Up (complete, preparing to query): Calliope falls in love with the music coming from the symphony’s summer lodge down the street from her house. What happens when the music goes away?
The Tree Hunters (complete, preparing to query): What makes a tradition meaningful? Is it the picture-perfect moment, or something else?
Banned From the Kitchen! (in revisions): Audrey’s being forced to stay out of the kitchen. She puts her sleuthing skills to work to figure out why.
Loaded for Bear (in progress): A young boy brings everything he can think of to the campout. His over-preparedness may just save everyone.
